About Us

Auntie Amal Community Center (AACC) is a non-profit organization led by neighbors in both  St. James Town (SJT) and North York, that provides opportunities for the community members to enhance their social skills, while managing stress. One of the initiatives of AACC is welcoming Syrian refugees and Newcomers to Toronto, and assisting them to integrate into the community.

We provide services for families ranging from newborn to seniors, by hosting activities that develop cultural awareness and participation in the broader Canadian society.

Our goal is to employ local residents to conduct various activities to gain Canadian experience. We also engage highly qualified candidates who are committed and motivated to support community needs. In addition, we encourage senior volunteers to mentor the youth members of our community through education and social activism.
